lens. Sea & Sea says the DX-1G Camera

'Neutralize It: Marine(tm)'
Combats Effects of Jellyfish Stings
What is it? A therapy designed to help
divers treat jellyfish stings.
Neutralize It combines ingredients to
de-acidify sting toxins that cause the
body's histamine reaction. With liposome
technology to speed absorption and carry
the product directly to the venom,
Neutralize It is designed to destroy the
toxins before skin damage can occur.
Additionally, Neutralize It reduces
uncomfortable blistering, swelling,
itching and pain, which may also help
eliminate secondary bacterial infections
caused by scratching the site.
Neutralize It is most effective when
applied immediately to the affected area
and rubbed for up to two minutes.
Benefits to your diving: Jellyfish
stings are rare but a nuisance divers
must deal with. Divers can easily keep
the 1.8-ounce bottle in their dive bag
or attach it to their gear. Neutralize
It goes beyond contact pain relief to
"denature" the venom proteins and
neutralize sting acids. For more
information or to contact a Neutralize
It: Marine(tm) dealer, call (480)

Oceanic's Dry Valve Technology(tm)
What is it? Regulator technology
designed to automatically eliminate
moisture and contaminants from entering
a diver's first-stage regulator, even if
the dust cap is accidentally left off
between dives or during rinsing. Dry
Valve Technology (DVT) is featured on
Oceanic's complete line of regulators
including the Delta 4, GT3 and Alpha 8.
Benefits to your diving: Most
first-stage regulators are exposed to
corrosive water intrusion either when
removed from the cylinder valve between
dives or in the rinse tank. That's where
Oceanic's DVT comes in handy. Before the
regulator is even removed from the tank
valve, the DVT system is already closed,
sealing out moisture and other
contaminants. The DVT protects critical
internal components, and all but
eliminates the possibility of bacteria,
hose deterioration, and damaged gauges
and computers. For more information
about DVT or to reach the nearest
Oceanic dealer, call (510) 562-0500.

Akona's New Progression Roller
What is it? A dive gear roller bag
designed to hold a complete set of dive
gear and accessories in less space than
a traditional roller bag. It comes with
the Pro Regulator Bag, which is easily
stowed in the top or bottom front
compartments. Other features include
Velcro(r) tie-down straps, padded

rugged 600-D (denier) poly/natural fiber

offer 100 percent corrosion resistance
to salt water. Bag dimensions are 30 by
17 by 13 inches, and it weighs 11

Atomic Aquatics' Smoke on the Water Fins
What is it? A splitfin that features an
"ultra high-energy polymer blade
material" and a Variable Pitch Geometry
spring heal strap. The splitfin actually
gets its unusual name from performance
testing. The fin "literally
out-accelerated or 'smoked' all other
fins," the company says. It comes in
basic black with translucent "smoke"
colored battens.
Benefits to your diving: The liquid
polymer material of the fins gives it
fast rebound and snap properties,
according to the manufacturer. The
spring section of the heel straps'
Variable Pitch Geometry design allows
the spring to stretch more easily for a
more comfortable fit and makes slipping
them on and off quick and easy. For more
information or to contact the nearest
Atomic Aquatics dealer, call (714)
375-1433.
