When 'Uh-Oh' Happens: How to Equip and Prepare for Out-of-Air Situations
Most of us can only survive without air for a minute or more at best. Owing to that primary need, we take some extra precautions to ensure that even if something doesn't work right, we'll still be able to breathe. We plan carefully, we check our equipment before diving, we practice our skills regularly, and we make certain that we have some form of alternate air available - just in case we run into that unexpected out-of-air scenario we learn about in our training.
