Factors Affecting Underwater Visibility
The primary reason we venture into the deep blue beyond is to see what's there, and if we can't see, or can't see much, then we kind of miss the whole point. By understanding more about visibility, we can hedge our bets against the odds of a bad day. By adjusting our underwater techniques and procedures, we can maintain our comfort and safety even when the visibility is less than we hoped for.
